Hotel Sales Business Development Manager in Top Dublin Hotel

A well branded, hugely busy 4* Hotel property in Dublin City Centre is seeking a Hotel Sales Corporate Business Development Manager. This is an exclusively proactive sales role, with a very successful Corporate Clientele list of top blue chip companies. Responsibilities of this Hotel Corporate Business Development Manager:

  • Corporate Accounts: managing selected existing corporate accounts to maximise all revenue streams for Rooms and MICE.

  • ICE: Pro-active targeting of conferences/events/ socials in the area.

  • To proactively target new competitor corporate accounts (local and RFP) currently not using the hotel, convert and manage.

  • To proactively target new business moving into the area, and convert for the hotel.

  • To ensure all corporate rates are correctly loaded onto the GDS.

  • To proactively target corporate travel agencies based in Ireland, delivering business into Dublin.

  • To proactively target Corporate travel agencies based overseas, who are delivering corporate business into Dublin 4* Market.

  • CCD: to ensure we are capturing all business from a bedroom, meeting room and F&B perspective. Build relationships with both the CCD sales team and the companies that have been attending the CCD, past and present contacts.

  • Food & Beverage: Attend food and beverage meetings as required and to assist the GROUP DOS in driving the F&B revenue for Hotel Bar & Restaurant

  • Corporate Group: to assist in achieving Corporate group business for the hotel. Working with the Revenue team to ensure prompt enquiry turnaround, proposal chase, site inspections to secure new business in this market segment.

  • Use of Lanyon and other systems to identify, target and convert corporate and other business for the hotel.

  • Networking: To be an ambassador for the Hotel and to immerse yourself and attend all evening events, seminars, breakfast meetings etc. in the local business community. To nurture and develop business relationships with the key players and influencers in the area. List of organisations will be supplied and agreed with the Group DOS, and then target for business.

  • Lead generation: daily review of local and national papers and online forums, to identify leads and either acting directly or refer to the Group DOS.

  • Telesales: proactive telesales and targeting of all lapsed and past hotel Corporate and MICE clients, and telesales of past enquiries not converted.

  • Telesales: identity and proactive telesales and targeting of all potential clients.

  • To assist with corporate entertainment as required

Requirements Responsibilities of this Hotel Sales Corporate Business Development Manager Dublin:

  • 1-2 Year’s sales experience working in the Hospitality Industry
  • A Hunger for Sales
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Previous history in achieving Targets
  • Proven Account Manager
  • Ability to create and manage a sales pipeline
  • Good knowledge of Hotel / Hospitality industry
  • Experience in Negotiation
