We are looking for a strong, passionate leader experienced in Venue /Entertainment Operations Management.

Our client is a Fantastic well-Branded company who are growing and are one of the best companies to be part of.

They are looking for a Venue Manager/ General Manager to join their team.

Experience in Hotel/ Venue Management or Event Operation Manager, Retail Store Managers within the hospitality/ Retail sector, is required.

Job Goal:

The Venue Manager is responsible for:

  • The overall operational management of the Venue and the attainment of business targets;
  • The customer service approach that will be implemented across the Venues to ensure that all members and guests feel entertained and valued;

  • Maximising the financial performance of the business;

  • Compliance with legal and company guidelines in relation to such areas as Health and Safety, gaming requirements, etc.

General Responsibilities:


  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the venue and report any variances to the Senior Management Team

  • Work with Marketing and Product to review and implement policy and promotional tactics to gain market share from competitors

  • Implement marketing activities to improve admissions, as agreed in the Promotional brief, as signed off by Marketing

  • Responsible for all communication within the Venue

  • Utilise the Venue management diary to ensure that all necessary information is passed on to the next duty manager

  • Reviewing and monitoring the payroll system

  • Advocate and uphold all company Health & Safety policies and procedures, including emergency evacuation procedures

  • Ensure that all fire procedures are followed, including the implementation of daily and weekly fire checks

  • Ensure that all customers have an exceptional experience on every visit in line with our Mission Statement

  • Achieve continuous improvement in customer service beyond the minimum laid down by the company

  • Ensure that the team maintains a high profile and presence to customers

  • Engage with customers to create a warm and hospitable environment

  • Deal with customer inquiries and be able to provide information about all departments within the Venue

  • Ability to manage and develop a positive and productive management team

  • Strong customer orientation

  • Ability to implement change for the improvement of the business

  • Problem analysis and resolution at a functional level

  • Dynamic, high-energy team player

  • Excellent time management skills and highly organised

  • A mature approach and professional presentation

  • High level of computer literacy: Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
